Trap Bar Open End V2
The NC Fitness Trap Bar Open End V2 gives the user much more variety and ease than our standard open end trap bar. Standing up it can be easily loaded and acts as a bar jack keeping the weights off the floor. It has two heavy knurled grips of 27.5mm and 50mm when you want to mix things up a little. This is a great bar for multiple exercises.

About Trap Bars
The bar is a hex shape, minus a side, which means that you stand inside of it and grip the handles laterally. This provides a more neutral hand position. It also positions the load around you which makes it ideal for shoulder shrugs.
Trap Bars are also great for deadlifts. They make it easier to teach deadlifts (especially with the two different handle heights) and allows your torso to remain upright, with less exertion on the spine. Trap Bars also target the quads more than the posterior chain, which means that the benefits are transferred more effectively into vertical leap training.
